Dispatch, Administrative, and General Contact Information
Northeast Marine Pilots coordinates pilot dispatch and provides operational support for licensed marine pilots serving Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and designated waters of New York.

VHF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS
VHF radio communications are used only in proximity to scheduled POB and are not a substitute for dispatch coordination. Pilot boats monitor VHF channels 10/13/16 approximately 1 to 2 hours prior to boarding. Pilots must be ordered via phone at least 24 prior to boarding.
VHF radio contact may be used approximately 1 to 2 hours prior to a scheduled Pilot On Board (POB); after a pilot order has already been placed and confirmed through dispatch; to coordinate final approach, boarding arrangements, or real-time adjustments near the boarding area
When instructed or appropriate to do so, vessels may hail “Northeast Marine Pilots” on the designated VHF working channel 10. Vessels should be prepared to provide Vessel name, Position, ETA Pilot Station.
